Step 4: Remove the clear protective film from digital touch pad

TIP - start at one corner of the digital pad and gently lift it with your fingernail. Once you have a small section lifted, the film will come away easily and in one piece. Please see video for guidance.

Yes, the Cloud Nine Contouring Wide Iron is designed for flawlessly smooth straightening and curling. The curved plates allow for versatile styling, so you can choose between sleek and straight style, bouncy curls, and straight with added flicks of texture.

To straighten with your Contouring Wide Iron:
Smooth the cushioned styling plates through a section of your hair from root to tip in one fluid movement. There’s no need to pause, as our Sericite®-infused styling plates distribute heat evenly for consistent shine. Repeat for all sections of hair.

The Contouring Wide Iron comes with universal voltage (100-240V) included, so you can achieve your perfect style from anywhere in the world. Check that the voltage indicated on the rating label corresponds with the local mains supply before connecting the appliance to the mains.

Cloud Nine's Hibernation Mode is a feature of the Contouring Wide Iron. After 30 minutes of inactivity, the plates stop heating but the power remains on, protecting your surfaces from heat damage for stress-free styling. When this feature is activated, the digital pad will power off and the LED lights on the side of your iron will pulse slowly.

Once your Contouring Original Iron is switched on, the digital display indicates the temperature and whether your straightener is heating up or cooling down. To increase or decrease the temperature, press the up or down arrows above the temperature gauge. The LED lights on the side of your Contouring Original Iron will flash whilst heating up and remain consistent once it has reached its temperature.

Your hair is unique, and so is its perfect styling temperature. The Contouring Wide Iron comes with 11 heat settings so you can adjust the temperature and create a bespoke, gentler styling experience.

The wide plates on the Contouring Wide Iron do not touch when placed together. Our floating curved plates are designed with Spring-Flex™ Technology to glide over the hair to ensure even heat distribution and a smooth, snag-free styling process. This does not impair the straightener’s performance.

To store your Contouring Wide Iron safely and correctly:

•    Keep the plug away from the plates to avoid scratching. 

•    Do not wrap the cord around your straightener – this can damage it.

•    Only put you straightener away when the plates are completely cool.

•    When your straightener is not in use, use your Protective Heat Guard to prevent damage to your surfaces and wear to the Sericite®-infused plates.
