TIP - start at one corner of the digital pad and gently lift it with your fingernail. Once you have a small section lifted, the film will come away easily and in one piece.

The Wide Iron comes with universal voltage (100-220V) included, so you can achieve your perfect style from anywhere in the world. Check that the voltage indicated on the rating label corresponds with the local mains supply before connecting the appliance to the mains.

The barrel of The Curling Wand is 140mm (5.5 inches) long and 25mm (one inch) wide.

To curl with your Curling Wand: 

1: Spritz clean, dry, detangled hair with a generous spray of Cloud Nine Magical Quick-Dry Potion for moisture and heat protection.

2: Plug in and switch on your Curling Wand. Use the temperature buttons to select the right heat for your hair, and wait less than one minute for the barrel to reach the right temperature. Not sure what your perfect heat is? Consult the Temperature Calculator first to make sure you're choosing kind styling.

3: Wrap a section of hair around the barrel, starting close to the root and finishing at the ends. Repeat until all of your hair is curled. Alternate the direction you wrap for a more natural effect. For big, bouncy curls, use larger sections of hair, or for tighter, springy curls, use smaller sections. For lasting results, pin the curl until fully cool.

4: For defined curls, finish with a touch of hairspray to ensure all-day hold. For loose curls or casual waves, leave your hair to cool and allow the curl to drop naturally. Apply salt spray for texture. For a faux-dry look, brush your curls out with the Cloud Nine Luxury Dressing Brush and follow with a spritz of light-hold hairspray.

To store your Curling Wand safely and correctly:

• Keep the plug away from the barrel to avoid scratching. 

• Do not wrap the cord around your curler – this can damage it.

• Only put your Curling Wand away when the barrel is completely cool.

• When your curler is not in use, use the protective kick stand to prevent damage to your surfaces and wear to the Sericite®-infused barrel.
